About Cole Alan Bieler
Cole Alan Bieler graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 1975 and received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Cincinnati, College of Law in 1978. Cole was admitted to the Ohio Bar in November, 1978. Cole has had substantial court room experience, working initially as a public defender in the Hamilton County Juvenile Court before accepting a position with a small prominent Cincinnati firm with a focus on serving individuals and small businesses. Mr. Bieler established his own firm in 1992 and has continued his focus on serving and building relationships with clients. Cole has built a reputation as a hard worker who serves the interests of his clients and maintains the highest ethical standards.
Over the years, prominent area attorneys and firms have contacted Cole to assist in a variety of matters. Because of his expertise and reputation, Cole was appointed by the Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas to serve as the Special Master and Trustee of a multimillion dollar settlement fund. In that role, Cole developed various protocols and procedures to collect, evaluate and decide the claims of potential members of the affected class. Thereafter, Cole received further court appointments and was retained by various prominent attorneys to resolve other multi party and class action settlements. Cole had assisted a prominent Cincinnati firm between 1996 and 2012 in organizing, managing and pursuing claims for that firm’s 1000+ clients who were claimants in a national products liability class action. Cole continues to represent claimants pursuing claims in that action.
Throughout, Cole has maintained direct involvement in all the cases and projects. This has provided Cole with the skills and experience required to manage the demands of an active, client oriented practice and to provide the legal skills and knowledge required.
Cole has two daughters who attended the Little Miami School District before college. Cole has been involved in various programs and efforts supporting the Little Miami School District and the Little Miami Athletic programs and area youth sports. Cole served by appointment on the Little Miami Finance and Strategic Planning Commission during the Little Miami School District Fiscal Emergency. Cole is a lifelong avid motorcyclist who can often be seen riding his Harley to the office and courthouse. Cole is a featured contributor and part of the story and history detailed in the book, American Biker: The History, The Clubs, The Lifestyle, The Truth by Bill Hayes.
